Wing Cafe

It was my very pleasure to visit Wing Cafe in Osaka. This must a dream cafe for DIYer, especially Computer Audio Fans.  Computer Audio does not belong in one fixed area. Application can be widely spread on all kinds of playback systems. I used to see these kinds of Jazz cafes in Japan with vinyl.

Custom made amplifiers – External Tube Power Supply for Prism Orpheus (Firewire to AES interface),  Custom Made Plextor Premium 2 CD-Drive with master clock module. Esoteric Master Clock locks all digital units. Custom Made speakers with JBL 2405/375/515C combo. Many people have different aspects on using which computer software for music playback. I was surprised to see Wing owner 植村哲之助 uses Cubase professional program (CD import function) as the main playback program.

It was a very fun afternoon to have a cafe and meet with few good friends. We had a great coffee time with Wing owner 植村哲之助, Waon Records owner  Mr.Kobushi and of course our dear friend Onda san.

When you are able to inject character into one playback system, your system will transform to beyond a bunch of machine connecting together. It sings……
