- SDIF-2/3 in professional environment or very high-end digital gear.
- If possible, isosync/ async in USB/FireWire, and cable designs, materials and length make differene in playback
- Pros/Cons for signal based (data-clock composite / separated format) and binary data based digital out, and its ability of Jitter immunization and which architeture/connection are more favourble for subsquene de-jittering before decode.
- For itunes demo, reminder for PC user setting in Quicktime for Bit-perfect out and most charming function with itunes – itunes remote!!
- You can talk about some checking procedures to tackle playback dropout, checking latency and maximum bitdepth, sampling frequency support by the hardware and verification of Bit-perfect on playback chain, ensure the user know the gears in correct setting and ready to playback Hi-Rez audio, as most of the newbie I came across don’t realize their hardware was 16/48 supported only, and keep blaming can’t tell the difference between 16/44 and 24/96!

- Is it possible to have demonstration and comparison of file based DSD and DXD playback as well? as most of us only able to do 24/192 max. playback at home.

I don’t know it’s good or not, one day for more MAC focused, and other day for PC platform focused

Why don’t split it into 2 modules ? One is the same as before, for beginners or whose did not attended your first seminar.

Modules two for the updates material plus demonstration for hi-res. playback that did not included in the first seminar ?

Since, your new seminar run-down schedule may over-run with only five hours.

Sorry guys, I didn’t make it clear on the information. There will be 2 seminars, 1 on Saturday, 1 on Sunday. Both will based on the same outline. The seminar will be first come first serve. The registration will be started on this weekend, and you can leave a message here in advance to secure a seat.

Most of the materials will be updated. I will not spend much time to talk about basics of audio, microphone or recording stuffs. We will base on various digital connections and demo to discuss advantages/disadvantages about USB, Firewire, I2S, Ethernet, PCI, Master Clock, Upsampling etc. We will demo wide ranges of digital playback products, and softwares which many people have highly interested (i.e Amarra & INT202). We will demo & compare Audiophile Jazz Prologue III on CD-R, HQCD, and ultra expansive Crystal Disc (The One and Only copy in the Universe). I believe through such comparison demo, people will get into which route they prefer and step on the CAS pathway.

Amarra, INT202, SARACON, AJP-III Crystal Disc are all unique demo in Asia. We will demo some freeware which everyone can try on their own after the seminar. This seminar will be first to cover most of the computer connection methods with real products demo. As the host speaker, I will not suggest which product is better than others, it is really depends on each person need for their systems.

I will need to thank you all equipment sponsors to loan us the demo units for this Seminar. Other people who has not attend my seminar will find your comment crazy Vash……..”may over-run with ONLY five hours.” =)

But I do hope there are more people or enough people to join, we are getting some 24/192 samples from Bondy Chiu recordings, plus some other recordings which is NOT available to the market, specially for the seminar attendee only.

Hello chaucer, the registration will start on this weekend. We have not fix the admission fee, but it will be cheaper than last seminar. I expect the admission fee will be around $350-$400/seminar range. Therefore we will make sure we have enough materials and value to share with all attendee.
